Our mission:

Working towards healthier human and wildlife habitat along the shorelines of Canada.

The Living by Water Project is a national partnership initiative with regional coordinators in several centres of the country.

We help individual shoreline residents, groups and agencies with information about shorelines; resources; services and programs . Please explore the site; use the search feature to help you find items.

Join the Shoreline Action Challenge and become a Shoreline Ambassador. Protecting shorelines makes sense for many reasons. Learn what you can do to help protect and restore them! We are aiming to designate 200,000 Shoreline Ambassadors by 2005!

Our major publication On the Living Edge Your Handbook for Waterfront Living is now available in some regions.
